BounceWarden is run by Aeternum Marketing Ltd, registered in Northern Ireland. This notice says what we hold, why, and for how long.
Your account
Your name, email address and a scrambled form of your password that can't be turned back into it. We use them to run your account and to email you about it, such as a password reset. We don't send marketing.
The lists you upload
We process the addresses on your lists for you, only to check them. The files and their results are deleted 30 days after upload, or as soon as you delete the list. Your last 50 single checks stay in your history. You decide what to upload, and you need a lawful reason to process those addresses.
To answer repeat checks quickly, we keep each checked address with its verdict for up to 90 days (30 for catch-all domains). Nobody can browse it; it only answers a check for that same address.
The check on our home page
We check the address you type and show the result. We don't keep the address. We count how many checks each network address makes per day, to stop abuse.
Payments
Stripe takes card payments. We never see your card number; we keep the amount, the date and the credits it bought.
Security records
We record the network address of failed sign-ins and new sign-ups for a short time, to stop people guessing passwords or farming free credits.
Who else handles data
OVHcloud hosts our servers, which are in Canada. Stripe handles payments. A mail delivery service sends account emails. We don't sell or share addresses with anyone else.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can delete your account and everything in it yourself, on the Account page, and change your name there. You can also complain to your data protection regulator.
