Terms
Last updated 16 October 2026
BounceWarden is run by Aeternum Marketing Ltd, registered in Northern Ireland. These terms cover your use of bouncewarden.com, the app and the API. By creating an account you accept them.
Your account
Keep your password and API keys to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has got in, change your password: that signs out every other device.
What you may check
Only upload addresses you are allowed to process, and follow the rules on sending email that apply to you and the people you write to. Don't use BounceWarden for anything unlawful, to send spam, or in a way that harms mail servers or our network. We may pause or close an account that does.
How a check works
We ask the address's mail server whether it would accept mail for it, then disconnect before any message is sent. The verdict is our reading of that answer. Mail servers can change their answers and some never give a straight one, so we can't promise that every Valid address delivers or every Invalid one would bounce.
Credits
One credit checks one unique address. Unknown verdicts cost nothing: a list returns their credits when it finishes, along with any it didn't reach. Credits don't expire. Card payments go through Stripe.
Our responsibility
We run BounceWarden with care but provide it as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost sales or a damaged sending domain, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and its date. Using BounceWarden after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland.
